Agloco update

Finally, thank god(or AGLOCO programmers) The Viewbar is out! Well... not exactly out. Like promised it is out for the first members, then to the next ones, then the next ones and so on. As I understood users with ID's BBBB to BBBF will be the first ones to get it.
Instructions on downloading the Viewbar will be sent to members via e-mail.
It seems that members will be reviewed in some kind of way. Pretty much work considering that the number of members from BBBB to BBBF is about 50,000. But, maybe I didn't understand it correctly. If you do then please comment and let me know.

Q: How Much Does It Cost To Join Agloco?

A: Agloco is totally free to all members.

Q: When will the ViewBar be released?

A: The ViewBar is set to be released between March 26th and April 16th. Don't get discouraged if the release gets pushed back. This is the best time to go out and refer new members. The more you get now the better off you will be when the ViewBar is released.

Q: Do I Have To Live In The USA In Order To Join Agloco?

A: No. Most countries can join Agloco. Also, Agloco is in various languages.

Q: How will I be paid?

A: You will be paid by check or PayPal.

Q: How will Agloco make money?

A: There are serverals ways Agloco is going to make money:

Search: Each time you use the Viewbar to do an Internet search, AGLOCO earns money from the search engine providers. (Google pays as much as $0.10 on average for each search that is directed to its search engine.)

Advertising: The AGLOCO's Viewbar displays ads that are specialized to you. Through clicking on an ad and/or making a purchase, AGLOCO receives a referral fee, which we then pass on to our Members. (Please note: Individual members do not receive any compensation for clicking on ads in the Viewbar, and the Viewbar can detect if someone is clicking ads in a fraudulent manner.)

Transaction commissions: Many major retailers pay commissions when you refer customers who make a purchase. AGLOCO collects that commission and passes it on to our members. (For example, Amazon pays an 8.5% commission to most websites who refer customers, and has cut deals for even larger percentages. The bigger the AGLOCO community, the better commission we can negotiate for our Members.)

Software distribution: Numerous software companies pay websites to encourage the download of new software releases (for example, Adobes Flash and Acrobat Reader software), and trial versions of new programs. AGLOCO members not only get access to the latest and coolest software, they get paid for it.

Service distribution: Many online service providers will look to the AGLOCO community as a source of new and active users for their services. (For example, eBay, Skype, and PayPal, among others, all pay fees to people who help them recruit new active users to their services)

Product distribution: When Members agree to use a product, such as cell phones, high-tech gadgets, office supplies, new credit cards or financial services, AGLOCO can collect referral fees. Some companies even offer special rebate and cash-back programs.

Q: How do I make money with Agloco?

A: Members earn a monthly share of the AGLOCO revenue based on the use of the AGLOCO Viewbar that month. Members earn part of the company based on the use of the AGLOCO Viewbar that month (currently a maximum of five hours are rewarded). Members who use our referral system to help build the AGLOCO network will earn more. Members will also get a share of any commissions AGLOCO gets when a Member purchases a product or service from an AGLOCO Sponsor company.

Do You Remember AllAdvantage?

AllAdvantage was launched March 31, 1999 and was the first "Get Paid to Surf" company. In it's 18 months of operation it grew to 10 million members and raised close to $200 million in venture captitol. It was free to join and compensated it's members not only for actively surfing the web, but also for recruiting new members. This led to it being one of the Top 20 websites of that time. Unfortunatley, AllAdvantage like many other internet start-up's fell victim to the dot-com bubble burst and closed it's doors in February 2001. But during it's hay day it paid out over $120 million to its members.

So why am I talking about a Dead Company ?

The founders of AllAdvantage have joined forces once again to create Agloco, short for "A Global Company." The concept is the same: Join for free, download a viewbar, get paid for actively surfing, and get paid even more for referring others.

AllAdvantage failed as a company because they relied too heavily on venture capital financing and their growth in members far outpaced their growth in revenues. Put simply, they signed up members in Internet time and sold ads in old-fashioned media time. The AllAdvantage model started paying members as soon as they downloaded and started using the Viewbar, but it took time to monetize these incremental hours.

The good news for us is that they have learned from their mistake. This will probably mean we won't make as much money as quickly as we would like, but it will be a steady stream of income that will grow overtime and not disappear as it did with AllAdvantage.
